Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Housekeeping Aide in Orlando. You will assist in providing Owners and guests with memorable vacation experiences by delivering guest requests, setting up rooms, and maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
• Identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Strip trash/dirty linen from assigned checkouts.
• Ensure correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remain in the rooms/villas.
• Cleans and maintains assigned buildings/areas daily.
• Uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, carpet extractors, etc.
• Stocks linen closets in assigned areas daily with linen and supplies.
• Guest Experience and Company Standards: Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
