Job summary

My Melrose is seeking a Sales/Cashier in Killeen, TX to assist customers with purchases and provide a warm shopping experience. You will learn our merchandise and support checkout operations in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, promoting the loyalty program, handling refunds, and keeping the cash wrap tidy, along with assisting merchandising and stock replenishment tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment such as scanners and cash registers.
• Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work with a varying schedule and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering or leaving the store.
• Ring on registers accurately and manage cash and media.
• Maintain orderly appearance of cash wrap.
• Receive payments by cash, credit, vouchers, or debits.
• Promote the MStyle Loyalty Program and encourage signups.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Count money at start of shift to ensure accuracy and change readiness.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising and display maintenance.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise.
• Participate in preparation for cycle counts.
• Assist customers in fitting rooms as needed.
• Answer questions and escalate to a manager when needed.
• Clean shelves, counters, and fixtures and maintain store cleanliness.
