Job summary

H&S Energy in Freedom, CA is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to support daily store operations, cashiering, maintain displays, and ensure food and beverage quality. The CSR will be the face of the store, delivering friendly service and knowledgeable product assistance.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and cash handling skills, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Training provided for safety and customer care protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• CPR and First Aid training a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism at checkout.
• Deliver friendly, efficient, and accurate service at checkout.
• Follow the company’s Four Steps of Customer Service with every interaction to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction and Mystery Shop performance.
• Communicate current promotions, loyalty programs, and product recommendations to enhance customer engagement.
• Represent the company with professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.
• Operate the POS system for cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Ensure correct change, receipts, and refunds are processed per policy.
• Maintain store presentation and food/beverage stations, and ensure safety and sanitation.
