Compensation Range:

$19.20 - $20.10 plus tips

Our Guest Attendants will serve theater guests and be their point of contact for various functions within the venue, including check-in, finding theaters, answering questions at the Concierge desk, confirming/taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and processing payments. They focus on creating a world-class hospitality experience while maintaining safety standards, ensuring guests enjoy a safe, clean, distraction-free, and enjoyable environment. They are the face of the Alamo and strive to make guests feel welcome and cared for.

OUR MISSION:

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain kindness and understanding
• Organize and lead theater cleaning, ensuring seats are sanitized before the next film
• Manage order cards, safety, and guest needs across theaters
• Launch and manage guest orders from POS entry to delivery
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Maintain assistive listening and closed-captioned devices
• Foster a positive, team-driven atmosphere
• Troubleshoot guest issues with management support
• Own the lobby and seating experience, including managing lines, announcing theater seating, and guiding guests
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and current films and events
• Ensure cleanliness standards for the venue
• Follow all safety protocols and policies
• Handle all guest interactions and overall guest experience
• Uphold company standards and values

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years experience in high-volume restaurant/theater environment preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active alcohol and food handler certifications as required by the state
• Knowledge or interest in films is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and transport items up to 50 lbs
• Stand for extended periods
• Walk up and down stairs multiple times
• Position oneself discreetly in theaters
• Operate POS touchscreen devices
• Work in a busy and loud environment with caution
