Our Guest Attendants will serve theater guests, handling check-in, directing guests, answering questions at the Concierge desk, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and processing payments. They focus on creating a world-class hospitality experience while maintaining safety standards to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment. They are the face of Alamo Drafthouse, making guests feel welcome and cared for.

OUR MISSION:

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain kindness and understanding
• Organize and lead theater cleaning, ensuring seats are sanitized between screenings
• Manage order cards, safety, and guest needs across multiple theaters
• Launch and manage guest orders from POS to delivery
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Maintain assistive listening and closed-caption devices
• Foster a positive, team-driven atmosphere
• Troubleshoot guest issues with management support
• Own the lobby and seating experience, managing lines, seating announcements, and guiding guests
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and current films and events
• Ensure cleanliness of the venue, including seats, handrails, and touchpoints
• Follow all safety protocols to keep teams and guests healthy
• Handle all guest interactions and ensure a positive experience
• Uphold standards of behavior aligned with company values and policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years experience in high-volume restaurant/theater environment preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active alcohol and food handler certifications as per state requirements
• Being an cinephile is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and transport items medium distances
• Stand for extended periods
• Walk up and down stairs frequently
• Position oneself discreetly in theaters
• Operate POS touchscreen devices
• Work cautiously in a busy, loud environment
