Our Guest Attendants will serve theater guests, acting as their point of contact for functions such as check-in, finding theaters, answering questions at the Concierge desk, confirming/taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and processing payments. They focus on creating a world-class hospitality experience while adhering to safety standards, ensuring a safe, clean, distraction-free, and enjoyable environment. They are the face of Alamo Drafthouse and strive to make guests feel welcome and cared for.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain kindness and understanding
• Organize and lead theater cleaning, ensuring seats are sanitized before the next film
• Manage order cards, safety, and guest needs across multiple theaters
• Launch and manage guest orders from POS entry to delivery
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Maintain assistive listening and close-captioned devices
• Foster a positive, team-driven atmosphere
• Troubleshoot guest issues with management support
• Own the lobby and seating experience, including managing lines, announcing seating, guiding guests, and communicating with leadership
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and current films and events
• Uphold cleanliness standards for the venue and safety protocols to keep everyone healthy
• Ensure high-quality guest interactions and overall experience
• Adhere to company values, code of conduct, and operational guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years experience in a high-volume restaurant/theater environment preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active alcohol and food handler certifications as required by the state
• Interest in cinema is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and transport items up to 50 lbs
• Stand for extended periods
• Walk up and down stairs multiple times
• Position oneself discreetly in theaters
• Operate POS touchscreen devices
• Work cautiously in a busy and sometimes loud environment
