Compensation Range:

Our Guest Attendants will serve theater guests and be their point of contact for various functions within the venue, including check-in, guiding to theaters, answering questions at the Concierge desk, confirming/taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and processing payments. They focus on creating a world-class hospitality experience while maintaining safety standards to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment. They are the face of Alamo, making guests feel welcome and cared for.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain kindness and understanding
  • Organize and lead theater cleaning, ensuring seats are sanitized before the next film
  • Ensure order cards, safety, and guest needs are addressed across multiple theaters
  • Manage guest orders from POS entry to delivery
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Maintain assistive listening and close-captioned devices
  • Foster a positive, team-driven atmosphere
  • Troubleshoot guest issues with management support
  • Own the lobby and seating experience, maintaining socially distant lines when needed, announcing seating, guiding guests, and communicating with leadership
  • Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and films/shows
  • Uphold cleanliness standards for the venue and touched areas
  • Follow all safety protocols to keep teams and guests healthy
  • Handle all guest-facing interactions to ensure a positive experience
  • Uphold standards of behavior per company values and policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years experience in high-volume restaurant/theater environment preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule (early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Active alcohol and food handler certifications as required by the state
  • Being an cinephile is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and transport items up to 50 lbs
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Walk up and down stairs repeatedly
  • Position oneself discreetly in theaters
  • Operate POS touchscreen devices
  • Work cautiously in a busy, sometimes loud environment
