Job summary

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a Guest Services and Traffic Attendant at our Honolulu location. This role ensures a safe, organized arrival experience for residents, guests, and visitors, assisting with luggage and directing traffic at the porte-cochere.

The position supports ADA accessibility and collaborates with valet and security teams to maintain smooth arrivals and departures. The role is offered as full-time or part-time with shifts from morning to early evening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Hawaii Driver’s License.
• Fluency in English is essential; Japanese proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Guest Assistance: Welcome guests and help with luggage, direct to ADA elevator, and answer basic questions.
• Traffic & Porte Cochere Management: direct vehicles, monitor flow, and coordinate with staff.
• Safety & Operational Support: observe safety concerns and maintain professional appearance.
• Assist with other guest service or operational duties as assigned.
