Job summary

Suburban Inns’ Holiday Inn Midland is seeking a Housekeeping Associate for the 3rd shift. The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining the public hotel areas to Hilton standards while delivering 100% guest satisfaction.

The position can be used as a paid internship and offers advancement opportunities. Responsibilities include greeting guests, cleaning public areas, assisting with laundry, and reporting to the Executive or Assistant Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications

• Minimum Knowledge: interpret/extract information and perform arithmetic; basic computer skills and record keeping may be required.
• Good communication skills
• Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: None

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
• Maintain cleanliness of public hotel areas to Hilton standards.
• Mop, sweep, vacuum floors and clean surfaces (windows, doors, counters).
• Dust surfaces, wipe tables and chairs in pool area, empty trash.
• Return service trays and cribs with fresh linen to storage areas.
• Handle dirty laundry and coordinate with housekeeping team.
• Communicate with Executive/Assistant Executive Housekeeper when rooms are cleaned.
• Follow Suburban Inns and Hilton standards and keep storage areas organized.
• Maintain a positive attitude and assist in keeping team morale high.
• Attend to additional duties as assigned by management.
