Job summary

Target is hiring for an On-Demand Guest Advocate to support guest experiences in a fast-paced store environment. You will greet guests, assist with product needs, and process transactions with a friendly, efficient approach.

Flexibility for varying shifts, including nights and weekends, is required, and attendance at Welcome orientation will be provided. Training through the myTime scheduling app will enable you to select shifts that fit your schedule.

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests and initiate a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while staying positive and respectful.
• Adapt to business and guest needs to deliver a great experience.
• Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing the guest experience and standards.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately per safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches and store activities.
• Educate guests on Target Loyalty benefits and assist with sign-up.
• Be familiar with fulfillment services and how to enroll and use them.
• Explain Wallet and other Target App features to guests.
• Handle returns by following prompts and escalate with leaders when needed.
• De-escalate situations with leaders to recover the guest experience.
• Deliver accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during open hours.
• Uphold safety, ethics, and compliance at all times.
• Support guests with Drive-Up, Pickup Orders and related services.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.
