The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Guardianship Services Program seeks a Guardianship Supervisor I to manage a regional unit of Guardianship Specialists and support staff. The role includes guiding casework, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with state agencies, judges, and families.

The supervisor provides leadership, develops staff, and ensures quality guardianship services while working within HHSC policies. Telework may be available; travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.
• Must be able to work on-call/outside regular hours.

Responsabilités

• Manage unit operations to achieve program objectives for service delivery and interpret policies, procedures, and laws.
• Plan and assign work; manage caseloads; hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Monitor staff activities and conduct investigations in coordination with State Office management.
• Consult with internal/external stakeholders, including agencies, judges, attorneys, and the public.
• Oversee budgets and monitor expenditures; prepare monthly expenditure reports.
