Job summary

Holmes Community College is seeking a Campus Guard to maintain order in the campus guard house and enforce rules and regulations. The role covers Thursday night through Sunday night shifts, including extended Friday–Sunday windows for after-hours coverage.

The guard will monitor traffic, report issues to the supervisor, and respond to emergencies. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with strong communication and community relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors security for incoming and outgoing traffic.
• Advises shift supervisor of issues or concerns that have occurred during their shift.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the smooth and orderly operation of the campus.
• Request medical assistance when necessary.
• Observe students in order to detect and report any unusual behavior to the appropriate party.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• Thursday = 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Friday = 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Saturday = 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Sunday = 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
