Job summary

LG-TEK is seeking a part-time security officer in Hanover, MD to perform entry/exit control, badge issuance, and patrols. Responsibilities include following post orders, responding to alarms, and monitoring facility security.

Qualified candidates must be 18+, hold a valid U.S. driver license or ID, be a U.S. or naturalized citizen, and have relevant security experience. A drug test is required, with physical fitness prerequisites noted.

Part-Time positions available

Shift work: Weekends/Holidays 24 hrs per day available and occassional Swings/Mids M-F support, as needed

Pay: $18.29/hour - $21.58/hour; plus H&W up to $5.42 per hour for up to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include the following tasks:

a. Provides Entry/Exit Control

b. Issue badges (retention, temporary, or visitor) in accordance with the appropriate clearance level of the individual requiring access or, when appropriate, Guest Decals for social or ceremonial functions.

c. follows post orders and related regulations and policies.

d. conduct rounds of the facility

e. respond to alarms

f. monitor the facility

Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Must Attest to Physical Fitness Requirements:

Vision correctable to 20/20
