Job summary

LG-TEK is seeking a security professional in Virginia to perform entry/exit control and badge issuance, ensuring compliance with post orders and security policies. The role supports the facility during weekends/holidays with potential swing/mid shifts, requiring a Secret clearance and basic physi cal standards.

Candidates must be 18+ with a high school diploma, US citizenship or naturalization, and valid ID. DCJS cert is a plus; physical fitness, color vision, and hearing requirements apply.

• Must be 18 years of age or older; valid state ID or driver’s license; U.S. citizen or naturalized.

Responsibilities

• Follows post orders and related regulations and policies.
• Conducts rounds of the facility.
• Responds to alarms.
• Monitors the facility.

Position requires a minimum of a Secret Security Clearance

Personnel are considered mission essential personnel

Part-Time positions available

Shift work Weekends/Holidays 24 hrs per day available and occassional Swings/Mids M-F support, as needed

Pay $20.30/hour - $21.00/hour; plus H&W up to $5.09 per hour for up to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities for this position include the following tasks

• Provides Entry/Exit Control
• Issue badges (retention, temporary, or visitor) in accordance with the appropriate clearance level of the individual requiring access or, when appropriate, Guest Decals for social or ceremonial functions.
• follows post orders and related regulations and policies.
• conduct rounds of the facility
• respond to alarms
• monitor the facility

Must possess a minimum Secret Security Clearance

Minimum Education High School Diploma

Experience and current training/certifications (DCJS) a plus - (Have up to 90 days to obtain the DCJS Certification)

Personnel Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older; must possess a valid-state-issued driver's license or ID card; must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen; and must have relevant security experience.

Must Attest to Physical Fitness Requirements

Vision correctable to 20/20

Free from colorblindness

Hearing correctable to normal level

Be able to lift 25 pounds

Drug test is required
