The Parking Guard supports campus parking and traffic operations by setting up control devices, directing vehicles and pedestrians, and issuing citations in accordance with Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) rules and regulations. Provides event and enforcement support, customer service, and equipment monitoring to ensure a safe and efficient campus environment.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time in indoor and outdoor conditions. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Ability to operate 2-way radio and handheld computer. This position requires extensive overtime to be worked as needed. Must be able work night and weekend shifts.
This position requires a valid driver's license, will require and MVR, and is subject to drug screens per PM-33/PS-67FASOP HR-04.
This position is classified as a safety and security-sensitive position. These positions are subject to drug screens per PS-67/FASOP HR-04.
This position is considered emergency essential and may be required to report to campus in times of emergency and/or closure per PS-18.
This position will require a physical evaluation based on the required physical demands.
No experience or training is required.
