Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. is seeking a skilled Non-Nuclear Work Control & Testing Specialist for the U.S. Navy at NAVSHIPYD & IMF DET GUAM. The role involves project planning, management, testing, estimating, and specification writing across mechanical, structural, electrical, and combat systems.

This on-site position requires active security clearance and offers work within NAVSEA-related shipyard environments, coordinating testing activities and ensuring timely test evolutions.

Qualifications

• Secret security clearance required.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in project planning/management/testing and specification writing.
• Experience with naval ship systems such as mechanical, structural, electrical, and combat systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Non-Nuclear testing and testing work control for NAVSHIPYD & IMF DET GUAM.
• Prepare detailed test procedures based on NAVSEA specifications and sequence work efficiently.
• Form integrated test schedules by reviewing the Authorized Work Package (AWP).
• Review test procedures and ensure all shipyard items are tested and results are satisfactory.
• Support Chief Test Engineer and Test Directors to progress test priorities and respond to delays.
