Job summary

ECC is seeking a Health and Safety Manager for construction projects on Guam. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements defined by Company standards, regulations, and contracts. The position may oversee loss prevention across multiple projects with subcontractors.

You will implement APP, promote safety programs, train staff, and prepare documentation while coordinating with project teams and management to reduce risk and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Health & Safety or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Eight years of progressive health and safety leadership on large construction projects (>$5M).
• Excellent written and oral communication, diplomacy, and tact.

Responsibilities

• Implement Accident Prevention Plans (APP) across projects.
• Promote health and safety programs at sites and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversee Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) preparation and acceptance.
• Deliver health and safety training to staff and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit health and safety documentation and risk mitigation plans.
