Job summary

Reactor is seeking a revenue-focused GTM professional in San Francisco to own the initial sales motion for its real-time AI platform. You will work directly with the founders and Head of GTM to convert robotics and AI use-cases into paying customers, designing and executing demos, PoCs, and expansion plays.

You will own the process from prospecting to close, manage a small set of strategic accounts, and build scalable GTM playbooks that accelerate growth beyond your own contributions.

Qualifications

  • Strong robotics knowledge, able to discuss latency, sim-to-real transfer, and VLA architectures.
  • 3+ years closing experience in robotics, physical AI, or deeply technical infra sales or founder-led sales.
  • Ability to manage prospecting, scoping, negotiating, closing, and expansion end-to-end.
  • Ability to build relationships with a small number of key accounts and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Strong qualification, prioritization, and decision-making in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Comfort with early-stage startup dynamics and rapid iteration.

Responsibilities

  • Own the revenue target across new business and expansion.
  • Build pipeline by targeting robotics and physical AI companies and turning events into qualified conversations.
  • Demo the product live for robotics founders/engineers, discuss latency and simulation environments, and scope PoCs.
  • Close deals quickly when possible and grow them as usage expands.
  • Build the playbook for scaling GTM beyond the initial efforts.
  • Capture objections and feedback to influence product priorities and case studies.

Skills

Robotics knowledge
Full-cycle sales experience
Technical sales

Job description

Description

This role owns revenue at Reactor. You will be one of the first GTM hires, working directly with the founders and the Head of GTM to turn the companies building on real-time AI into paying, expanding customers, and to build the sales motion itself from scratch.

You will be the person customers buy from. The one who understands their product deeply enough to suggest the integration, runs their own demo without an SE in the room, closes in days when the deal is fast and keeps momentum for months when it isn't, and stays close as usage grows.

Department

GTM

Location

San Francisco

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the number: Carry a revenue target across new business and expansion. You are measured on closed revenue and how fast accounts grow after they land.
  • Build pipeline yourself: Prospect the robotics and physical AI companies training and deploying policies, work inbound signals, and turn conferences, launches, and lab relationships into qualified conversations. Speed matters, robotics funding moves fast, and being first in the door often decides the deal.
  • Run technical sales Your buyers are founders and robotics engineers. You demo the product live, speak fluently to latency, policy execution, and simulation environments, and scope proof-of-concepts with clear success criteria and a contract waiting at the finish line.
  • Close and expand: Land the first deal fast, then grow it. With a small number of large accounts driving most of the revenue, you spot the moment a robotics team is ready to move from evaluation to production, or from one policy to their whole fleet, and act on it.
  • Build the motion, not just the deals: Templates, technical qualification criteria, MSA structure, CRM hygiene: what you do becomes the playbook for scaling robotics GTM beyond you.
  • Feed the loop: Your call notes shape product priorities, positioning, and the case-study pipeline. Every objection from a robotics team, on latency, security, or integration, is roadmap data, and you treat it that way.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • You understand robotics, or you learn it fast. You know the difference between policy execution, evaluation, and training environments, or you can get there in weeks, not months. You can hold your own when a robotics engineer asks about latency, sim-to-real transfer, or VLA architectures. Your buyers are deeply technical; this is non-negotiable.
  • You have 3+ years of closing experience in robotics, physical AI, or deeply technical infrastructure sales, or you founded a company in this space and sold its product yourself.
  • You are full-cycle, and patient with it. Prospecting, technical scoping, negotiating, closing, expanding: you do all of it, and you understand that a robotics deal earns trust over months, not days.
  • You build relationships in a small world. With a handful of accounts driving most of the revenue, you play a long game, staying close, being useful, and being the team a robotics founder trusts, not just the fastest to follow up.
  • You qualify hard. Not all revenue is good revenue; you split good deals from bad ones early and walk away from the wrong ones.
  • You thrive in ambiguity and speed. We are early-stage and moving fast. You are energized by that, not intimidated.
Benefits
  • Competitive SF salary and meaningful equity in an early-stage company backed by top investors
  • Opportunity to build the sales motion from day one
  • Direct access to founders and influence over product direction
  • Visa sponsorship and relocation support
  • Generous health, dental, and vision coverage
