Job description

About Us

At Absentia Labs, we’re building intelligent systems that redefine how safety science is done. Our AI-native toxicology platform delivers human-relevant insights that accelerate drug development, reduce reliance on animal studies, and enable a new regulatory paradigm for predictive safety.

As we continue building toward enterprise readiness and early partner engagement, the GTM Engineer will play a foundational role in keeping our external presence, outreach, CRM, and commercial workflows running with discipline and consistency.

Innovations begin with clarity of purpose, ownership, and a deep respect for scientific and regulatory rigor. If you’re excited to build new markets, engage with senior scientific leadership across pharma and CROs, and bring a breakthrough platform to industry, we’d love to talk.

Why This Role Matters

Absentia is entering a critical phase: translating technical progress into real-world engagement with pharma, biotech, and research partners. This role is foundational: not in setting strategy, but in ensuring execution happens consistently, cleanly, and at high velocity.

You will serve as the operational backbone of our early growth efforts, managing the systems, workflows, and day‑to‑day execution that keep our external motion running.

If you’re excited to work closely with founders, support early growth efforts, and help build the operational engine behind how a company shows up to the world, we’d love to talk.

This is a high‑visibility role with direct exposure to founders and company‑building at an early stage.

Growth & Marketing Execution
  • Manage LinkedIn and X presence (company and founders)
  • Draft and publish content (posts, blogs, newsletters)
  • Support website content updates, messaging refreshes, and distribution of external communications
Commercial & Pipeline Operations
  • Manage CRM hygiene, workflows, and tracking
  • Ensure all interactions are logged and progressed
  • Create dashboards and reports that give leadership visibility into outreach, meetings, follow‑ups, and pipeline activity
Outbound & Engagement Support
  • Execute outbound and marketing‑support campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and content‑driven channels
  • Manage follow‑ups and nurture sequences
Events & Logistics
  • Coordinate conference and event logistics
  • Support event preparation, scheduling, attendee tracking, and post‑event follow‑up coordination
  • Support pre/post‑event outreach
About You

We’re looking for an ambitious, detail‑oriented operator who wants to learn quickly, execute consistently, and help build the infrastructure of an early‑stage company.

You Likely Have
  • 3/4 years of relevant work experience (startup, biotech, consulting, or similar high‑performance environments preferred)
  • Proactive and self‑directed
  • Interested in biotech / AI
  • Comfortable using AI tools to support research, writing, and workflow automation
  • Communicate clearly, manage ambiguity well
  • Operate with high trust, low ego, and strong personal accountability.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, curiosity, and high emotional intelligence

  1. Demonstrates consistent, high‑quality execution across multiple workflows.

  4. Highly structured in how work is managed. Able to maintain clean systems for tracking outreach, conversations, and pipeline activity.
  5. Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, early‑stage environment with limited structure.
  6. Takes initiative, moves quickly, and does not wait for perfect direction.
  7. Takes responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. Follows through on commitments and ensures continuity across ongoing workstreams.
  8. Clear, timely communicator, both internally and externally.
  9. Maintains professionalism across all interactions with partners and stakeholders.
  10. Comfortable navigating shifting priorities and evolving workflows. Resourceful and able to build structure where none exists.
