Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Program Manager to lead segments of the GTFA development program for the 30K engine initiative. You will drive milestones, manage budgets, and coordinate with CIPTs, IAE partners, and IPMT to ensure successful certification and entry into service.

The role requires strong leadership, risk mitigation, and the ability to align goals with business objectives across engineering, operations and finance teams in a US-based position at East Hartford.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of program management, engineering, or aftermarket experience; OR Master’s Degree with 10 years of experience as outlined.
• Direct experience with program execution and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Establish Program Level 1 milestones for CIPTs and support groups to achieve program goals.
• Achieve program milestones and select financial metrics: E&D, MAMs, CapEx, E&O Development material.
• Identify program risks, define and implement mitigation plans.
• Development, flight test and production engine support.
• Coordinate with IAE partners on tasks, budgets, and milestone deliveries.
• Provide regular updates on progress to GTFA MIPT/IPMT and leadership.
• Lead medium to long-term projects and planning.
• Involves a wide range of difficult & complex problem solving.
• Recommend functional strategies.
• Apply strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate, maintain and expand relationships.
