Zusammenfassung

GM Motorsports is seeking a Controls Integration & Systems Engineer to advance the GT3 customer program. You will work across controls, software, electronics, vehicle performance, and trackside operations to deliver reliable, track-ready solutions.

The role requires Motorsports engineering expertise, leadership, and collaboration across internal GM teams and external partners, with travel to events as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in motorsports vehicle controls and embedded systems.
• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Proficient with Bosch Motorsports tools and software.
• Experience with CAN-based vehicle networks and electronic control systems.

Aufgaben

• Support development and integration of vehicle systems.
• Integrate separate but connecting systems to create a cohesive architecture that is flexible throughout GT3 programs.
• Develop continuous improvements to support customer teams and drivers to win championships.
• Lead collaborative controls meetings between Bosch and Powertrain teams.
• Create customer-facing documentation for track-side use.
• Lay out the plan for a resilient controls system architecture for GT3 programs.
• Design and maintain CAN, Ethernet, wiring, and module-to-module communication architectures.
• Create pin schedules, wiring schematics, test-bench documentation, and system-integration plans.
• Apply Agile development practices, including Jira-based sprint planning, requirements tracking, and change management.
• Develop, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot vehicle-control software using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Validate control systems and firmware across SIL, HIL, sDIL, DIL environments and track tests.
• Coordinate with partners to develop vehicle performance plans for events.
