Job summary
General Motors LLC is seeking a Controls Integration & Systems Engineer for GM Motorsports to develop and integrate advanced vehicle control systems for GT3 programs. You will work across controls, software, electronics, and trackside operations to deliver reliable, track-ready solutions and support customer teams and drivers.
The role requires motorsports engineering expertise, leadership, and collaboration with internal GM teams and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
- 5+ years of experience in motorsports vehicle controls and embedded systems.
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
- Experience with propulsion and chassis systems integration on GT3 programs.
Responsibilities
- Support development and integration of vehicle systems.
- Integrate separate but connecting systems to create a cohesive architecture.
- Develop improvements to support customer teams and drivers; aim to win championships.
- Lead collaborative controls meetings between Bosch and Powertrain teams.
- Create customer-facing documentation for track-side use.
- Apply Agile development practices with Jira-based sprint planning.
