Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Rochester center is seeking a GSRP/PreK classroom aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role offers opportunities to learn classroom operations and the Highscope curriculum while supporting four-year-olds as they prepare for Kindergarten.

The position requires 18+ years of age, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license with chauffeur’s endorsement to drive the 14-passenger bus.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license with chauffer’s endorsement to drive 14-passenger bus (highly desired)
• Ability to pass fingerprinting background check
• CPR/First Aid Certification (can be completed within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Communicates openly with both parents and staff
• Provides active supervision at all times
• Activity planning (indoor and outdoor)
• Helping children with homework assignments, conflict resolution and other classroom interactions
• Feeding the children their afternoon snack
• Building respectful relationships in the classroom
• Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
