Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Rochester center is actively seeking a GSRP/PreK classroom aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role will help you gain knowledge of classroom operations and the Highscope curriculum.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm (start may flex to 10am). Location is onsite in Rochester, MI with a competitive pay rate and a path to growth in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Possess a valid driver's license with chauffer's endorsement to drive the 14-passenger bus.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting background check.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate (can be completed within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Communicates openly with both parents and staff.
• Provides active supervision at all times.
• Activity planning (indoor and outdoor).
• Help children with homework, resolve conflicts, and other classroom interactions.
• Assist with feeding the children their afternoon snack.
• Build respectful relationships in the classroom.
• Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures.

Position Detail

• Status: Regular, full-time (benefit eligible)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm, start may flex to 10am
• Desired start: ASAP
• Pay rate: $15/hour, additional compensation $18/hour for driving the 14-passenger bus
• Location: Onsite, Rochester, MI
• Please note this position does NOT qualify for US Visa Sponsorship or relocation

Requirements

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• Have reliable transportation
• Possess a valid driver's license with chauffer's endorsement to drive the 14-passenger bus (highly desired and company reimburses cost)
• Ability to pass fingerprinting background check
• CPR/First Aid Certificate (can be completed within 30 days of hire)
