Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a dedicated GSRP/PreK classroom aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite role runs Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm, with starting pay $15/hour and an additional $18/hour for driving the 14-passenger bus.

You will build connections with staff, children and families while learning the HighScope curriculum. The position emphasizes supporting young learners, planning activities, and ensuring licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Valid driver's license with chauffeur endorsement preferred.
• Ability to pass fingerprint background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates openly with both parents and staff.
• Provides active supervision at all times.
• Activity planning (indoor and outdoor).
• Helping children with homework assignments, conflict resolution and other classroom interactions.
• Feeding the children their afternoon snack.
• Building respectful relationships in the classroom.
• Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures.
