Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a GSRP Aide to support Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing children for Kindergarten. You'll help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment while ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and a passion for early childhood education. This position allows for positive interactions with children and the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities that foster learning and development.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s state-funded, nationally recognized Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑olds. As a GSRP Aide, you will support the Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing children for Kindergarten and beyond by helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

As a GSRP Aide, you will:

• Support classroom routines and help with daily activities, meals, and transitions.
• Follow licensing, grant, and center guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all children.
• Assist with classroom setup, organization, and maintaining a clean learning space.
• Build positive relationships with children and help implement fun, age‑appropriate activities.
