Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a GSRP Aide to support lead and associate teachers in preparing children for kindergarten in a safe, engaging classroom environment.

You will assist with routines, activities, and maintaining a clean space while building positive relationships with students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in early childhood is a plus.
• Demonstrates energy, reliability and a collaborative work style.
• Able to engage children and help with age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom routines and daily activities, meals, and transitions.
• Follow licensing, grant, and center guidelines to ensure health and safety.
• Assist with classroom setup, organization and a clean learning space.
• Build positive relationships with children and help implement engaging activities.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s state-funded, nationally recognized Pre-K program for 4-year-olds. As a GSRP Aide, you will support the Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing children for Kindergarten and beyond by helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

As a GSRP Aide, you will:

• Support classroom routines and help with daily activities, meals, and transitions.
• Follow licensing, grant, and center guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all children.
• Assist with classroom setup, organization, and maintaining a clean learning space.
• Build positive relationships with children and help implement fun, age-appropriate activities.
