Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a GSRP Aide to support Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing children for Kindergarten by creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

You will assist with daily routines, activities, and transitions, while adhering to licensing and center guidelines to protect children’s health and safety. The role emphasizes teamwork and ongoing opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; early childhood coursework or experience preferred.
• Passion for helping children learn and grow.
• Dependability, energy, and a collaborative spirit.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom routines and help with daily activities, meals, and transitions.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s state-funded, nationally recognized Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑olds. As a GSRP Aide, you will support the Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing children for Kindergarten and beyond by helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

As a GSRP Aide, you will:

• Support classroom routines and help with daily activities, meals, and transitions.
• Follow licensing, grant, and center guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all children.
