Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a GSRP Aide in Michigan to support Lead and Associate Teachers, helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom for four-year-olds.

You will assist with daily routines, meals, transitions, setup, and activities; follow licensing and grant guidelines; maintain a clean learning space; and build positive relationships with children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; early childhood coursework or experience preferred.
• Dependability, energy, and a collaborative spirit are essential.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors with children.
• A passion for helping children learn and grow.

Responsibilities

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s state-funded, nationally recognized Pre-K program for 4-year-olds. As a GSRP Aide, you will support the Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing children for Kindergarten and beyond by helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

As a GSRP Aide, you will:

• Support classroom routines and help with daily activities, meals, and transitions.
• Follow licensing, grant, and center guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all children.
