Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a Lead GSRP Teacher in Michigan to plan and implement daily lessons for 4-year-olds under the GSRP curriculum. You will conduct observations, collaborate with a classroom team, and develop Individual Development Plans while ensuring compliance with program standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field and a ZA/ZS teaching certificate, with experience leading a classroom and creating lesson plans.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center rules.
• Capacity to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the associate teacher and classroom team for high-quality instruction and management.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑old children. The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4‑year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant.
As a Lead GSRP Teacher, you’ll:

• Plan and implement daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum
• Conduct child observations and assessments using approved tools
• Collaborate with the associate teacher and classroom team to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management
• Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each child and lead parent‑teacher conferences
