Job summary

Tutor Time Childcare in Michigan is hiring a Lead GSRP Teacher to plan and implement daily lessons using the GSRP curriculum for 4-year-olds. You will observe and assess progress, collaborate with teammates, and develop individualized plans for each child while ensuring quality instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or valid ZA/ZS teaching certificate.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Responsibilities

• Conduct child observations and assessments using approved tools.
• Collaborate with the associate teacher and classroom team to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management.
• Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each child and lead parent-teacher conferences.
• Ensure compliance with GSRP standards, licensing rules, and program quality expectations.
• Participate in required professional development and coaching.
• Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant.

As a Lead GSRP Teacher, you’ll:
