Job summary

Tutor Time Childcare in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based Pre-K classroom. The role focuses on assisting the Lead Teacher with daily lessons and child development observations.

Candidates should hold an associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or a CDA with plans to complete the degree. Preschool experience and licensing knowledge are preferred. We offer benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (or a valid CDA credential with a plan to complete an associate degree).
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements.
• Team player with a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum.
• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development.
