Job summary

Tutor Time Childcare is seeking a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond. You’ll assist the Lead Teacher with daily lessons, observe children’s development, and help maintain a safe, engaging space.

We seek compassionate, curious educators with an Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (or a CDA with plans to pursue an associate degree) and preschool experience; team members

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or a valid CDA with plan to complete an associate degree.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements.
• Team player with a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

As an Associate Teacher, you’ll:
