Job summary

Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium is seeking staff for a part-time position up to 37.5 hours/week, on student days, with pay ranging from $13.73 to $15.75 per hour. Employment is contingent upon grant funding and guidelines.

Ideal candidates will follow licensing guidelines, have knowledge of state licensing standards and early childhood curricula, and demonstrate confidentiality and strong communication with students, parents, and staff.

• Prefer to have obtained or willingness to obtain a CDA or Associate in Early Childhood
• Follow LARA licensing guidelines for childcare centers
• Previous knowledge in state licensing, TS Gold (Smart Teach), Creative Curriculum, High Scope, etc. preferred
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding all students
• Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of this position
• Participate in training pertinent to the assigned position
• Regular attendance and punctuality is required
• Passionate about the education of young students
• Previous experience preferred
• Willingness to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge
• Evidence of good interpersonal skills with colleagues
• Committed to the importance of the student's educational growth and development
• Must have the ability and willingness to work effectively with parents and staff
