Responsibilities

• Supervise GSRP students during lunch, recess, and noon-hour activities.
• Assist students with opening food items, cleaning up, and practicing appropriate mealtime routines.
• Monitor students to promote safety and positive behavior.
• Support students with transitions between the classroom, cafeteria, playground, and other designated areas.
• Encourage independence, appropriate social interaction, and respectful behavior.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly lunch and activity area.
• Follow established procedures regarding student health, safety, allergies, and dietary needs.
• Communicate student concerns, incidents, or unusual situations to the classroom teacher or appropriate school staff.
• Follow GSRP, school, and Leona Michigan Education Group policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

setting.
