Job summary

Pinkerton, a global risk management leader, seeks an Investigative Analyst assigned to a client to monitor open-source information, news, government alerts and industry feeds to identify threats affecting personnel and operations.

You will produce concise intelligence reports, support crisis management, collaborate with Protection Services, HR, Legal and Communications, and help ensure accurate, actionable situational awareness across incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, security studies, or a related field with at least three years of experience.
• Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and produce concise reports.
• Willingness to learn monitoring tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Monitor open-source information, global news, government alerts, and industry feeds to identify events impacting personnel or operations.
• Track geopolitical, security, environmental, and operational risks and elevate findings to leadership.
• Develop and manage intelligence investigations and provide insights to mitigate risks.
• Support internal investigations to protect assets and reduce risk.
• Observe online discussions for indicators involving the company or leaders, using approved tools.
• Receive alerts, conduct initial relevance reviews, and route to internal partners.
• Produce concise intelligence summaries, alerts, and situational updates for leadership.
• Develop threat/risk assessments, travel briefings, and post-incident reports.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across written products.
• Support crisis management teams with real-time situational awareness.
• Utilize emergency notification systems for outreach and incident communications.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining intelligence platforms and monitoring systems.
