Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer in Cambridge, MA to support multiple client sites across healthcare, education, and finance sectors. You will leverage our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts that fit your availability, gaining hands-on experience across industries.

The role offers flexible part-time hours, paid orientation and training, and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check in accordance with laws; drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper client requirements.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
