Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across industries. You will use a shift-pickup platform to build a schedule working irregular shifts with little notice, gaining diverse site experience and growth opportunities.

Starting pay is $26.01 per hour. Must have GSOC experience (1 year preferred) and pass background checks and drug screening. Flexible part-time weekday and weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check as a condition of employment per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of emergencies.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe and protect property and ensure proper removal of items per client requirements.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
