Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for Part-Time Dispatch Operations in Arlington, TX. You will support an automotive finance location by coordinating communications, monitoring activity, and directing responses to incidents while maintaining records and delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed and 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check is required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarm notifications, radio traffic, and dispatch requests; prioritize and route information to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident records, and access-related activity reports.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate communications with on-site personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols around the business and perimeter to identify and report security concerns.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive finance location.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarm notifications, radio traffic, and dispatch requests; prioritize and route information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, access-related activity reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
