Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking an SOC Operator / Security Dispatcher to join our Security Operations Center in King of Prussia, PA. You will monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control while coordinating responses and documenting investigations.

A background in loss prevention or investigative work helps you translate data into action. You’ll engage with security software platforms, maintain incident logs, and collaborate with emergency responders and law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Minimum 1 year of experience in a SOC/GSOC, dispatch, command center, or central station monitoring environment
• Prior loss prevention or investigative experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted
• Background in security, law enforcement, or military a plus
• Experience working in 24/7 operations or shift-based environments

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems to detect suspicious activity or security threats
• Investigate and document loss prevention incidents, asset discrepancies, and unusual trends
• Conduct threat analysis and elevate incidents according to established procedures
• Operate, explain, and troubleshoot dispatch and monitoring software platforms (candidates must clearly describe system workflows and dispatch processes)
• Dispatch and coordinate security officers and field personnel via radio, phone, and digital communication channels
• Maintain detailed incident logs and prepare comprehensive investigative reports for management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, emergency responders, and law enforcement as needed
• Support on-site security teams and ensure compliance with company safety protocols
• Manage confidential information and sensitive data with discretion and professionalism
