Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC in Maryland seeks a GSOC CSO Liaison Support to provide critical C3 services for national missions, on-site at Joint Base Andrews. The role covers support to high-visibility airborne platforms and EACN operations, including incident response and trend analysis.

• Support EACN Air to GIG Gateways and GSOC operations with expert guidance.
• Track and assist executive aircraft communications issues and respond to incident calls.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance on onboard Mission Communications System anomalies.
• Review and advise on effectiveness of flight monitoring solutions.

Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a GSOC CSO Liaison Supportto provide support for the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN) support task order, which provides Command, Control, Communications (C3) services for multiple critical U.S. Government missions via multiple Air to Global Information Grid (A2G2’s) supported by a Systems Integration Lab (SIL).

This is a full-time position located on-site at Joint Base Andrews (JBA) in Andrews, MD.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Senior Leader Command, Control, Communications Systems-Airborne (SLC3S-A) Operations, Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Operations, Air Force Global Strike Command’s (AFGSC) E-4B aircraft, also known as the National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC), and U.S. Navy E-6B Mercury aircraft.
• Provide support to EACN Air to GIG Gateways (A2G2s), EACN Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL), and the Government Security Operations Center (GSOC).
• Track and assist Executive Aircraft in flight with communications issues, respond to incident calls, and support trend analysis efforts.
• Support Executive Aircraft while in flight using command and control tools and chat software (Mattermost)
• Provide GSOC leadership with expert guidance on the operations of the Mission Communications System (MCS) on-board C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft.
• Provide expert troubleshooting guidance to Communications Systems Operators on-board C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft during MCS anomalies and/or outages.
• Review and provide recommendations on the effectiveness of GSOC flight monitoring solutions utilizing various web-based tools developed by Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) providers
