Job summary

Apogee is seeking a GSOC CSO Liaison Support to provide mission-critical C3/ MCS support for Executive Aircraft under the EACN task order, including on-board operations and GSOC coordination at JBA.

The role requires US citizenship, TS/SCI clearance, and a Bachelor's degree with 12+ years in the relevant DoD field; a Master's and 10 years of DoD experience are preferred. On-site at Joint Base Andrews, MD, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
  • Clearance: Must have TS/SCI clearance and maintain it.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Years of Experience: 12 years in the discipline; include 5 years of DoD experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Senior Leader Command, Control, Communications Systems-Airborne (SLC3S-A) Operations, Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Operations, Air Force Global Strike Command's (AFGSC) E-4B aircraft, also known as NAOC.
  • Provide support to EACN Air to GIG Gateways (A2G2s), EACN SIL, and the Government Security Operations Center (GSOC).
  • Track and assist Executive Aircraft in flight with communications issues, respond to incident calls, and support trend analysis efforts.
  • Support Executive Aircraft in flight using command and control tools and chat software (Mattermost).
  • Provide GSOC leadership with expert guidance on MCS on-board operations for C-32, C-40, and C-37 aircraft.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting guidance to Communications Systems Operators on-board during MCS anomalies/outages.
  • Review and provide recommendations on the effectiveness of GSOC flight monitoring solutions.

Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a GSOC CSO Liaison Support to provide support for the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN) support task order, which provides Command, Control, Communications (C3) services for multiple critical U.S. Government missions via multiple Air to Global Information Grid (GIG) Gateways (A2G2's) supported by a Systems Integration Lab (SIL).

This is a full-time position located on-site at Joint Base Andrews (JBA) in Andrews, MD.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to Senior Leader Command, Control, Communications Systems-Airborne (SLC3S-A) Operations, Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Operations, Air Force Global Strike Command's (AFGSC) E-4B aircraft, also known as the National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC), and U.S. Navy E-6B Mercury aircraft.
  • Provide support to EACN Air to GIG Gateways (A2G2s), EACN Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL), and the Government Security Operations Center (GSOC).
  • Track and assist Executive Aircraft in flight with communications issues, respond to incident calls, and support trend analysis efforts.
  • Support Executive Aircraft while in flight using command and control tools and chat software (Mattermost)
  • Provide GSOC leadership with expert guidance on the operations of the Mission Communications System (MCS) on-board C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting guidance to Communications Systems Operators on-board C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft during MCS anomalies and/or outages.
  • Review and provide recommendations on the effectiveness of GSOC flight monitoring solutions utilizing various web-based tools developed by Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) providers

Qualifications
Minimum Experience
  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
  • Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Years of Experience: Twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's Degree
  • Years of Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience
Additional Experience
  • Experience as a Communications Systems Operator on an Executive Aircraft (C-32, C-40, and C-37, E-4B, VC-25)
