Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a GSOC supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM) to lead a team of intelligence analysts and communications analysts. You will monitor global risks, respond to incidents, and coordinate with stakeholders and leadership.

You will ensure compliance with policies, mentor staff, and maintain GSOC and security systems expertise in a demanding, 24/7 environment. This role requires strong leadership and decisive, calm decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security operations or intelligence center, emergency dispatch, or equivalent; global setting preferred.
• Experience leading teams and supervising analysts in high-pressure environments.
• Strong written and oral communication, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GSOC shift operations and supervise analysts on shift.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed; coordinate with contract analysts.
• Lead initial response to incidents and escalations; ensure safety and compliance.
• Mentor and train new team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain knowledge of GSOC systems and processes; participate in cross-functional teams.
• Support Lake County Security Operations as needed.
