Job summary

Firefly Aerospace in Briggs, Texas, is seeking a GSE Technician II to install and commission new test stands and verify readiness for flight hardware.

You will build and upgrade test sites, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with test engineers to develop procedures and document activities. This on-site role requires hands-on experience with high-pressure and hydraulic systems and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years troubleshooting mechanical systems and high-pressure fluid/pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years using power tools and calibrated tooling.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work at the Briggs, TX facility.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade test stand equipment.
• Participate in builds of new site/test stands and system upgrades.
• Provide feedback to GSE engineers during design phase.
• Collaborate with test engineers to develop procedures and document activity.
• Maintain tools, storage, and hardware to support testing.
• Operate high-pressure, cryogenic, and hydraulic systems on test assets.
