Qualifications

• Extensive experience with mechanical, pneumatic and electrical system development for GSE.
• Ability to design and manage GSE through development and build cycles.
• Experience coordinating with launch operations to meet requirements.
• Ability to develop specifications for performance, fabrication, acceptance testing and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage GSE through development and build cycles to support launch operations.
• Coordinate with launch operations personnel to understand requirements and develop GSE to meet them.
• Develop and approve specifications for performance, fabrication, acceptance testing and maintenance.
• Manage external partners to ensure GSE meets specifications and timelines.
• Establish technical documentation for maintenance and proofload requirements.
• Perform hand calculations and finite element analysis to support design.
• Design and analyze CAD models using Siemens NX and Femap.
• Maintain equipment schedule, budget, and technical status.
• Implement and continuously improve GSE operations.
• Shift schedule varies with production and launch needs.
• Travel up to 25% annually; Kennedy Space Center background checks.
