Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level II to repair and maintain airline ground service equipment such as tugs and belt loaders.

You will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and ensure safety standards are met while logging work orders and parts. Position requires 3 years of verified experience, own tools, and the ability to work a 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM shift with some nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• 3 years of verified experience required.
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox.
• Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).
• Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain ground service equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, trucks, and more.
• Log equipment numbers with description of work to be done on each piece.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, repair, or modify engines, electrical, brakes, hydraulics and related systems.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals.
• Complete associated paperwork and track parts.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
