Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. in Detroit, MI is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level II to repair and maintain ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders and pushbacks, ensuring safety and reliability.

You will perform advanced maintenance on a wide range of equipment and document work performed. Candidates must have at least 3 years of verified experience, provide their own tools, and be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must provide their own tools and toolbox.
• 3 years of verified experience required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license with acceptable record.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air.
• Log equipment numbers to be repaired with description of work.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, repair, or modify engines and transmissions.
• Inspect electrical systems, brakes, hydraulics and pneumatics on mobile lift and conveyors.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and manufacturer guidelines.
• Operate and test ground equipment for performance assessment.
• Complete paperwork and track parts.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards.
