Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our Florida team. The role focuses on servicing ground support equipment and aircraft systems, performing inspections, troubleshooting and repairs to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legal to work in the United States.
• 3 years of verified experience.
• Must provide own tools and toolbox.
• Regular predictable attendance at job location.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access information in print and electronic form using IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices.
• Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients in person and via electronic means.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire required credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs).
• Shifts include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air.
• Log equipment numbers with description of work.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, repair or modify engines and transmissions, electrical, brakes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on mobile lift and conveyor systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues per manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.
• Remove, test, repair or replace components such as carburetors, governors, air and oil cleaners, ignition points and sensors.
• Check and adjust tolerances of valves, bearings, cams, clutches, drive shafts.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and manuals.
• Operate and test ground equipment for performance assessment.
• Complete associated paperwork and track parts.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
