Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking a Diesel and Automotive Mechanic to service and repair Ground Support Equipment (GSE) such as tugs, belt loaders, and pushbacks. The role offers 2nd and 3rd shift schedules and an hourly rate up to $40 based on experience.

You will perform advanced maintenance on motorized and non-motorized equipment and ensure safety standards are met. Responsibilities include servicing with fuels and fluids, diagnosing issues, and testing equipment while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• 3+ years of verified experience.
• Must provide own tools and toolbox.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• FAA, TSA, Port Authority credentials may apply.
• Must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air.
• Log repair work and track parts for each piece of gear.
• Inspect, maintain and repair engines, transmissions, electrical and brakes.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Operate and test ground support equipment.
• Complete paperwork and uphold safety procedures.
