Job summary

ERMC Aviation seeks a skilled Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair airport ground support equipment, including tugs, belt loaders, and power units. The role also handles administrative tasks related to GSE maintenance operations.

Responsibilities include inspections, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Strong teamwork and the ability to work extended hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school preferred.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance; knowledge of hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience with GSE or heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions and cramped spaces; weekend or extended hours as needed.
